Howdy.

My name is Matt, but I am sure you already know that (or you are a Robot and don’t care).  I am a tech enthusiast and enjoy most all things technological.  I currently live in central Alabama with my beautiful wife Kristy and two spoiled pooches – Zadie, a min-pin, and Diamond, a Chihuahua.

I have been “in the IT arena” since about the age of 12 - disassembling and reassembling my first desktop by the age of 13 (nothing major, but the modem wasn’t replacing itself and dad was at work :-/ ).  Needless to say, I was hooked – have been since.

I currently work for a Software Development Company, specializing in Web Application Development – we are primarily centered around the .NET stack, though we all like to dabble most in the Open Source world.

Before entering the world of development, I was a support analyst for banking software company – primarily supporting banking applications and processing systems for various financial institutions around the world.

In my free time I wander around HN, StackOverflow and Reddit.  If not reading tech blogs, I am usually working towards tweaking some random scrap of code… or being less productive on the 360 or PS3.
